A normal firewall only learns from what happens on your own site. SeenSecure’s Protection Network does something different: when an IP attacks one site in the network, the other protected sites can benefit from that information before that same IP ever touches them.
What the Protection Network is
It’s an optional feature that anonymously connects every site that enables it. When one site’s firewall blocks a real attack, that signal can be shared with the rest of the network — and in exchange, that site receives the list of IPs the network has already confirmed as attackers on other sites.

When an IP gets published as dangerous
The network doesn’t publish an IP lightly. Before distributing it to all clients, a proprietary algorithm analyzes several combined signals (how many different sites have seen it, how severe, in what time pattern) to confirm it’s a real threat and not an isolated false positive. The exact details of that analysis are part of how we protect the network against manipulation attempts — the less an attacker knows about the exact threshold, the harder it is for them to dodge it.
Detecting coordinated campaigns
When the system detects the same attack pattern hitting several sites in a short time, it treats it as an active campaign and reacts accordingly — this way a coordinated attack gets stopped much faster than if each site had to discover it on its own.
Privacy: it’s optional and requires explicit consent
The Protection Network is disabled by default. Enabling it is an explicit decision by the site administrator, and it can be disabled at any time without losing any other protection — the firewall and the rest of the security layers keep working the same, enabled or not. Shared information is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for the system to work, never indefinitely.
